Mission Mighty Men was born in the trenches of real men's ministry—25 years of watching God transform ordinary men into extraordinary warriors. What started as a burning passion to see men awakened to their true identity in Christ has become a vision to raise up an army of mighty men across the nation who will lead their families, churches, and communities with courage and conviction.

How It All Began

​

In 2006, we launched what was then called Mighty Men Ministries with our first Impact Group at the Sterling on the Lake clubhouse in Flowery Branch, Georgia. That first night, as we gathered to pray before we started, a massive lightning bolt struck at the top of the building. The men cried out to God in radical praise for His mighty power! It was a night we will never forget—and God's dramatic confirmation that He was birthing something powerful.

What followed was nothing short of a mighty move of God. Men who had been passive and discouraged—men who had never been trained to face the battles raging in their lives—experienced breakthrough after breakthrough as the Holy Spirit shaped them into mighty warriors for the Kingdom. We witnessed marriages revived and saved. We saw men answer the call of God for leadership. We watched ordinary men transformed into force multipliers who impacted their churches and workplaces with power.

From that first group in Flowery Branch, God has given us a vision to impact the nation by training leaders and launching Impact Groups across America. The mission remains the same: awaken, train, equip, and deploy mighty men.

The Problem We're Solving

Ask yourself this question: When was the last time—or if ever—you heard any teaching or preaching on how to engage in the battles of life or how to be trained for spiritual warfare? Most men say never. This is a spiritual disaster that is having profound negative effects on men in this godless culture.

And yet, the Word of God is filled with references about the spiritual battle we are facing against demonic principalities and powers. The Christian life is characterized in many places as a battle and a fight—and yet we hear virtually nothing on the subject in most of our churches.

Here's what's happening to men across our nation: they've been given Bibles and Sunday sermons, but many lack the tactical training and brotherhood they need for the battles they face daily. Despite the best intentions of churches and pastors, too many men remain stuck in routines that don't transform them and programs that don't equip them for spiritual warfare. The result? Defeated men. Struggling marriages. Passive fathers. A generation of potential warriors sitting on the sidelines—not because they don't want to fight, but because no one intentionally taught them how.

But something is stirring. Men across America are waking up—hungry for high-stakes discipleship, desperate for real training, and ready to engage in the battle and win.

Our Mission

We exist to awaken, train, equip, and deploy mighty men through Impact Groups—small bands of warriors who lock shields, train for battle, and multiply leaders who multiply leaders.

While we thank God for the churches that teach and preach the whole Bible and train men to fight and engage in spiritual warfare, we're not about building another church program. We're raising up a battle-ready army of force multipliers who know their identity in Christ, know how to wield God's Word as their weapon, and refuse to fight alone.
